The idea of this project came to my mind when I was looking at my 1st semester Animation and Visual Effect project in the final year of my BSc study. I used Adobe After Effect and 3ds Max as part of this module and I was introduced to After Effect in a more advanced way. I liked the idea of combining real-life character with a 3d created character and in a virtual environment.

I produced my Final year project looking into the previous experience. The following techniques were implemented: recording a live shot in a green screen room involving an actor and cameraman, modelling the environment, spaceship and a robot, and finally animating the robot and spaceship in the created environment. Furthermore, visual effects are embedded in the composition.
